About Madison
Hi there! I’m Madison Jaquez, a Clinical Social Worker – Intern (CSW-I), and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m originally from Casper, Wyoming—a small town that taught me the value of close-knit connection and knowing your neighbors by name. Moving to Las Vegas was a big change, but it’s become a second home full of vibrant culture, incredible diversity, and beautiful people with powerful stories. Being surrounded by so many different walks of life has opened my heart and mind in ways I’ll always be grateful for. It’s also deepened my belief that everyone’s background, culture, and identity matters—and deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
Outside of the therapy room, I love all things music, nature, and food. I’m a big fan of live country shows, late-night campfire chats under the stars, trying out new foodie spots around the city, and exploring it all with my sidekick—my miniature dachshund, Paloma, or “P” for short! She’s a tiny little bundle of sass and sunshine, and she reminds me daily how much joy can be found in life’s smallest moments!
Before becoming a therapist, I spent time in helping roles where I witnessed firsthand how powerful it is to feel truly seen and supported. I’ve also been a therapy client myself, and that experience shaped the kind of therapist I strive to be—empathetic, humble, and grounded in genuine connection. I deeply value holding space for people just as they are, and it’s an honor to walk alongside others through their most vulnerable, courageous, and transformative seasons!
How I Help
My goal in therapy is to create a space that feels safe, nurturing, and real—like a deep exhale after holding your breath. I believe therapy works best when you don’t have to pretend or perform. You don’t need to have it all figured out to show up here. In fact, part of my job is to help you unpack those expectations and discover what it looks like to live with more freedom, clarity, and connection to yourself and others.
I support clients who are working through trauma, anxiety, big life transitions, relationship challenges, and faith-related struggles. I know from experience how overwhelming it can feel to hold everything in—and how freeing it is to have someone who can sit with you in the mess, not rush you through it. I work from a place of curiosity, not judgment, and I see therapy as a collaborative process where we honor your story, your values, and what matters most to you.
I often integrate evidence-based practices like Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help you build coping tools and explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. But I also believe in creating space for emotional honesty, creativity, spiritual reflection, and humor—yes, even in therapy! If faith is important to you, we can incorporate prayer or spiritual themes into our work together in a way that feels supportive and aligned with your beliefs.
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk with you, not lead the way. I’ll help you uncover your strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, and cultivate new ways of showing up for yourself and the people you love. I also believe healing doesn’t happen in isolation, so I’ll gently encourage you to find and lean on community as part of your growth.
Whether this is your first time reaching out for help or you’ve been on this path for a while, I want you to know I’m proud of you for taking this step. Therapy is courageous work—and it would be a true privilege to walk with you as you heal, grow, and reclaim your story!
