Our Rates

PROMPT PAY RATES

We offer a prompt pay rate for clients who choose to pay privately, are uninsured, or are out-of-network. This discounted rate applies when payment is made at the time of service. If payment is not made at the time of service, our standard rates apply:

  • $225 for initial sessions
  • $200 for all subsequent sessions

Rates are based on a 45-60 minute session and vary by provider:

  • $45 – Student Interns
  • $115 – Associate Therapist ($125 if EMDR Trained)
  • $135 – Licensed Therapist ($145 if EMDR Trained)
  • $160 – Senior Therapist ($170 if EMDR Trained)

INSURANCE & BILLING

We accept the contracted rate for clients using the insurances listed below. If we are in-network with your insurance, you will be responsible for your copayment, co-insurance, or full contracted session rate, which varies by policy. Contact us for a benefits quote to better understand your coverage.

OUT-OF-NETWORK

For out-of-network insurance, the full prompt pay fee for the session is due up front. We do not bill out-of-network insurance but would be happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

SLIDING FEE SCALE DISCOUNT PROGRAM

At reTHINK Therapy, we believe cost should never be a barrier to quality mental health care. We offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program to clients who qualify based on household income and family size.

Services with our student therapists (supervised by licensed clinicians on staff) are available on a sliding scale from $45 down to $0, based on your household income relative to the Federal Poverty Level:

  • At or below 100% FPL: Free services ($0)
  • 101–150% FPL: Approximately $11/session
  • 151–200% FPL: Approximately $23/session
  • Above 200% FPL: Standard rate of $45/session

You may also qualify for Nevada Medicaid, which covers therapy with any clinician on our staff at little or no cost to you. Our team can help you determine eligibility and apply. Visit www.accessnv.gov or ask us at your first appointment.

To apply for our sliding fee program, ask our administrative staff for a Financial Assistance Application — they’re happy to assist. You can request a review at any time, at intake or during treatment.

  • If cost is a barrier, we’ll connect you with one of our student therapists at a reduced or no-cost rate, get you signed up with Medicaid if you qualify, or help you find the right fit in our community. No one is turned away solely due to inability to pay without some form of help.
  • All financial information is kept strictly confidential
  • Medicaid enrollment assistance available at no charge

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Weekend Sessions

reTHINK Therapy bills CPT code +99051 for sessions held on weekends or outside typical business hours. Some insurance plans cover this fee, while others do not. If your insurance does not cover it, we will automatically charge the card on file once your claim has been processed.

  • If not covered by insurance, the maximum out-of-pocket charge is $10-$15 per weekend session.

Interactive Complexity Code

At times, therapy sessions involve additional complexities that require extra effort to ensure effective communication and care. The Interactive Complexity Code (CPT 90785) is an add-on billing code used when specific factors—such as communication barriers, involvement of third parties (like family members or guardians), or heightened emotional distress—make the session more complex.

This code is applied only when necessary and reflects the additional time and specialized skills required to navigate these challenges effectively. It does not increase the length of your session, but rather acknowledges the extra level of care involved.

Documentation Fees

Requests for documentation—including but not limited to letters, treatment summaries, and reports—require additional time outside of scheduled sessions.

  • Starting fee: $30 per request
  • Additional cost: $30 per 15 minutes required to complete the request

Please allow 7-14 business days for completion. Payment is required before the release of documentation.

To request documentation, please complete this Initial Documentation Request form, and the Biller will contact you in 1 – 2 business days. Please note that the Biller is available Monday through Thursday. Any requests submitted after 3:00 PM on Thursday will be processed on Monday.

At this time, we do not work with any Medicare Advantage plans and only accept straight Medicare.

FAQ's

What form of payment is accepted?

reTHINK Therapy accepts cash, checks, debit, credit, HSA, and FSA cards.

If I have insurance, what will I need to pay at my session?

Every insurance plan is unique. Some insurance plans require a copayment at the time of service. Other plans require no copayment at all. Still others require the full payment of the service rendered until the plan’s deductible is met. reTHINK Therapy will provide you with a benefits quote based on your insurance plan. 

What if insurance doesn't cover my session?

reTHINK Therapy will bill your insurance provider after each appointment. If a claim is denied, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be responsible for any balance not covered by your insurance. 

Do all reTHINK therapists accept all insurance providers listed?

Not all therapists at reTHINK Therapy accept the same insurance plans. Contact us to see if the therapist you would like to see is contracted with your insurance.
