About Ahlam
Hey there! My name is Ahlam Hamdan and I’m a Clinical Professional Counseling Intern (CPC-I). As a proud daughter of immigrants, I’m passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, such as immigrants, children of immigrants, teens, and young adults. I believe that everyone deserves access to assistance and support tailored to their individual needs, and that’s what I strive to provide.
Some exciting facts about me: I’m always up for trying out new hobbies, chasing stunning sunsets, or hitting the trails for a refreshing hike. I’m a true nature enthusiast and nothing makes me happier than spending time outdoors!
How I Help
What sets me apart as a therapist is my collaborative, client-centered approach. I prioritize trust, acceptance, and a willingness to work through challenges to help my clients reach their goals. I meet my clients where they’re at in their healing journey, taking into account their values and preferences. That’s why I use an integrative approach that’s tailored to each client’s unique wants and needs.
I’m a firm believer that therapy can help you achieve a new level of self-awareness and lead you to a more fulfilled life. That’s why my goal is to provide a safe space for my clients to explore what’s on their mind and learn to express their emotions freely. I’m here to challenge you to identify new perspectives and help you reach your full potential.
As someone who strongly believes in the power of empathy, I know that when we start planting empathetic seeds within our souls, we can flourish together for the benefit of ourselves and our community.
