About Olivia
My name is Olivia and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am originally from upstate New York and I moved to Las Vegas in 2014. I love New York but don’t love the snow! Two of my loves in life are my chihuahua, Bauer, and good music. I enjoy spending my free time cuddled up with Bauer and a good indie or rock record on my record player. If I’m not at home jamming out, I love traveling, spending time with family and friends, or hiking through Las Vegas’ beautiful mountains. I have my Bachelors degree in Social work from State University of New York Brockport and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Nevada. I have wanted to be a therapist since I was 12 years old; my mission and value, both then and now, has been to support individuals so that they may feel hope in what can be the darkest of times.
How I Help
I pride myself on making therapy both helpful and enjoyable! It is important to me to build a relationship with the children, adolescents, and families I work with; my sessions involve not only information gathering and processing of thoughts and feelings, but also laughter, jokes, crafts, and games when possible. When a client starts therapy, we establish what their goals are for treatment and each session is a reflection of working towards those goals, while also hopefully having a good time in the process! My intention is to end each session with clients and families looking forward to coming back for their next session. I specialize in children, adolescents, and families; specifically in anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depressive disorders, and clients with high acuity symptomatology, including self-harm
behaviors and suicidality. My ultimate goal as a therapist is to work alongside clients and help guide them on their journey to the utmost happiness and health.
