About Jared
My name is Jared Moser and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I recently relocated to the Henderson area from Reno with my wife and three puppies. We love hanging out together – you can find us cooking, shopping, watching movies, playing pool, mini golfing, bowling, or at paint and sip nights. I also enjoy going shooting, playing video games, and running DnD groups with my friends!
How I Help
I believe it is important to create a comfortable and grounding space for my clients so that they feel at ease opening up, allowing me to help them get to know themselves. I like to take a client-centered approach, giving them undivided attention and support – while also keeping things fun and playful with humor, sarcasm, and colorful language. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I will see kids as young as 5 years old. I enjoy working with individuals that need help raising their self esteem, as well as those with complex PTSD. I have also had a lot of experience working with teens and families, as I spent 2 years at an in-patient psychiatric hospital. Here, I developed an affinity for helping parents become aware of how triggers lead to behaviors, and how to respond more effectively to their children in order to have healthier interactions.
My preferred modalities include Attachment Focused EMDR (a modified protocol of EMDR), CBT, DBT, as well as other humanistic approaches. My knowledge in Japanese Massage Therapy has taught me the importance of nurturing the mind-body connection and considering how mental health ties into physical health. I am excited to help you on your healing journey!
